Martin Rowe is the editor of Know Your Pension. He collects OPM salary tables, Executive Orders and FERS retirement rules, checks every figure on the site against its source document, writes the test values each calculator must pass, and keeps the change log.

Martin is an independent editor. He is not a federal employee, not a retirement counselor and not a financial adviser, and he does not offer personal advice. His work is limited to reproducing published rules accurately and showing how they apply to the numbers you enter.

How to reach the editor

Send corrections, questions about a source, or a case where a calculator disagrees with an OPM figure through the contact page. Corrections that change a published figure are listed in the change log with the date and reason.
